Dye Your Own Clothing , Eco Print Workshop

SOME ECO PRINTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Have you tried eco printing on flat fabrics or paper but aren’t sure how to work with something that has seams, folds, or shape? This hands-on workshop is the perfect next step.

Bring in your favourite light-coloured garment, and I’ll guide you through the best techniques to create beautiful, flattering, and magical patterns using leaves and flowers.

We’ll explore how to wrap and bind garments for natural dyeing success, using saved  plants & leaves. You’ll leave with a one-of-a-kind, wearable piece of eco-printed art , and the confidence to keep experimenting at home!

Required from you!  You will have to pre mordant your item at home at least 48 hours before the class.  for this you require a scale to weigh the item and the alum, a container to mix alum in, large enough for your item.  You will receive the alum acetate and a video to follow for this step. 

What’s included:

All dye materials (seasonal leaves, flowers, and more)

50g alum acetate (mordant) mailed ahead of time with simple instructions

Printed handout with process notes and tips

Tea and snacks during the session

What to bring:

One pre-mordanted light-coloured article of clothing- shirt, skirt, pants, dress.  (no hoodies , jackets or big bulky items)

Garment must be made from natural cellulose fibers: cotton, linen, hemp, rayon, bamboo, viscose. Please contact me if you are unsure or need help deciding on what to dye!

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made 7 or more days before the workshop date will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before the workshop are non-refundable. You're welcome to gift your spot to a friend, or I'll do my best to fill it — if I do, you'll receive a full refund.

If I need to cancel or reschedule a workshop (e.g. due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances), you'll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.
